Prairie State announces tech student

FARMER CITY – A senior from Blue Ridge High School in Farmer City has signed on with local John Deere dealership Prairie State Tractor to be a tech student and continue his education at Lake Land College in Mattoon.
Cameron Phillips receives a full tuition reimbursement as a tech student along with more than $7,000 worth of John Deere tools and a toolbox. Lake Land College is a two-year program designed to train future John Deere service technicians.
