Carbon capture bill signed by Pritzker

Governor JB Pritzker has signed a bill into law which creates leading standards for environmental protection and safety for carbon capture and sequestration projects in the state.

The framework is being set for new environmental protections.

This landmark carbon capture bill is expected to drive investment in Illinois and create hundreds of jobs as companies will have incentives to move carbon capture to Illinois.
