Enrollment open for ARC/PLC

Enrollment is currently open for the various ag programs in the 2024 crop year, including Price Loss Coverage (PLC) and Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC).

March 15 is the enrollment deadline and also the date that any election changes need to be made by. Choices for producers include ARC-County, PLC or ARC-Individual. The county and PLC programs provide crop-by-crop protection and ARC-IC protects an entire farm.

A signed contract is required from producers each year even though election changes are optional for the year. Any multi-year contracts on farms will continue for 2024 unless a program election change is made. Those not submitting election revisions by the deadline will see their election stay the same as 2023.

Owners of farmland can only enroll in these programs if they have a shared interest in the farmland.
