Subsoil moisture supply was rated 13 percent very short, 23 percent short, and 64 percent adequate.

Corn harvested for grain in the state reached 97 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 95 percent. Winter wheat emerged reached 79 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 87 percent. Winter wheat condition was 4 percent very poor, 6 percent poor, 55 percent fair, 28 percent good, and 7 percent excellent.
