$114,000 awarded to ag students

The IAA Foundation has awarded $114,000 in scholarships to students pursuing agriculture degrees.

Funds will be used for college tuition during the 2020-2021 school year and were awarded to over 70 students pursuing degrees in ag related fields. The recipients are selected based on academic achievements, leadership involvement, professional career goals and overall commitment to success.

Illinois Farm Bureau and the county Farm Bureaus award more than $875,000 in scholarship support annually. Applications for the 2021 school year scholarships and details on eligibility requirements will be available on the IAA Foundation's website beginning December 1.
