Illinois crop tour numbers

The Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour is out with the Illinois results and the numbers aren’t too impressive.

The Illinois average corn yield is 171.17 bushels per acre. This compares to 192.63 in 2018 and a three year average of 188.95 from 2016-2018.

For soybeans, the average pod count in a 3’x3’ square was 997.68 compared to 1328.91 in 2018 and the three year average of 1292.59.
