Agronomy Day is next week

The Livingston County Farm Bureau Marketing Committee and COUNTRY Financial Rep, Marlon Eilts, will be hosting the 2019 Livingston County Agronomy Day, Wednesday, January 23 at the Pontiac Elks Club. The session will run from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Experts from universities, Illinois Farm Bureau and the private sector will be sharing their insights on topics including pest and weed management, grain and weather outlooks for the coming year, cover crops and the nutrient loss reduction strategy.

The following Certified Crop Advisor Continuing Education Units in these areas have been approved for: 5 CEU – Nutrient Management, Soil & Water Management, and Crop Managment

Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. A complimentary lunch will be provided.

They are expecting good attendance and strongly encourage pre-registration at www.livcfb.org or email livcfb@gmail.com or by calling the office at 815-842-1103 by Monday, January 21 so that adequate materials and lunch can be prepared.
