Froidcoeur claims top award

HUDSON - A Mclean County 4-H member from Hudson has taken the top prize for her work in veterinary science.
Kara Froidcoeur has received a $200 cash prize, which was sponsored by the auxiliary to the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association. Froidcoeur is a longtime member of the Hudson Ag 4-H Club. She taught workshops on issues related to vaccinations, diseases and anxiety as part of the vet science project.
