Hager to speak at agronomy event
Dr. Aaron Hager from the University of Illinois will be the keynote speaker at an agronomy research day hosted by Brandt Consolidated this Tuesday (July 25).
Hager will cover those hard-to-control weeds and discuss modern herbicide programs. Hager works for the U of I Department of Crop Sciences. The meeting will also cover 2017 field trial highlights, including corn and soybean production, ROI focus, crop inputs, soybean seed treatment and a soybean planting study. A growing season review and fall outlook is also on the agenda.
Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. with the meeting from 8 a.m. to noon. Lunch will be provided. The event takes place at the Brandt Lexington Research Farm.
