Call to make FSA appointment

Operators should call their local FSA office to set up an appointment once they are 100% done planting 2017 crops.

The office will need to know how many farms you are certifying that you are listed as operator on. On the day of your appointment be sure to bring planting dates along with what your shares will be for each farm. At the end of your appointment you will receive a producer summary that will list all your data that you should take to your crop insurance agent as FSA records need to match with crop insurance records.

Please pay close attention to the acreage reporting dates below.

2017 Crops:

July 15, 2017: Corn, Soybeans ,CRP, and all other spring-seeded crops

2018 Crops:

December 15, 2017: All fall seeded crops (Wheat), Hay and Pasture (Alfalfa, Grass, Clover, etc.)

Failed & Prevented Planting Reporting:

Failed Acreage: Reports of failed acreage must be filed BEFORE disposition of the crop so that a field visit can be completed.

Prevented Planted Acreage: Reports of prevented planted acreage must be reported no later than 15 days after the final planting date(s).
