Wheat seedings up from 2023

The Illinois winter wheat seeded area for harvest in 2024 is up 2.4 percent from last year.
Information released late last week by USDA-NASS indicates the seeded area for this year is estimated at 860,000 acres which compares to 840,000 in 2023 and 650,000 in 2022.
The Illinois Winter Wheat Seedings was among several reports issued Friday by the government.
