Those in the chemical and fertilizer industries will get to experience the latest equipment and demonstrations during the upcoming MAGIE show at the McLean County Fairgrounds in Bloomington.
Ag retailers from around the nation enjoy the warm hospitality of the show grounds and unique nature of the show.
Attendees have the chance to test drive application equipment from the major manufacturers, visit with exhibitors specializing in drone spraying, blending, nitrogen stabilizers, tendering, construction, metering tanks and tires. It is the perfect opportunity to escape from the office and visit with peers in the industry.
There will be plenty of free food as many vendors cook lunch on Aug. 20 and be sure to stay around until 3:45 p.m. for the hospitality party in the food tent for a chance at winning various prizes.
Everyone will want to find out who wins the big IMAGE and Showstopper award, plus the four Custom Applicator finalists will be introduced with the winner announced during the hospitality party.
Visit the website www.ifca.com to see the show layout, list of exhibitors and to register online. Simply click the MAGIE drop down list.
Pre-registration at the lower price of $12 is strongly encouraged versus $15 at the show. To register, go to www.ifca.com/MAGIE/Registration.
It is always an exciting time of year when the MAGIE show takes place in Bloomington followed by the Farm Progress Show in Decatur and the Threshermen’s Reunion in Pontiac the very next week.
Talk about getting our fill of farm shows! These events always provide me with plenty of material to report on for the coming weeks during the busy harvest season which isn’t far off, by the way.
