Tornado confirmed in McLean Co.

LE ROY – A tornado apparently hit McLean County earlier this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Officials report an EF-0 tornado touched down Monday just southwest of Le Roy. Wind speeds topped out at 85 miles per hour. A tree and power pole were toppled into separate mobile homes.

Also, there were reports of flattened corn near Arrowsmith and Saybrook in McLean County from those storms that moved through Sunday night into Monday morning.
