CHATSWORTH – Nu-Ag Technology is Chatsworth will hold its local Soil Max tile plow demonstration days this Wednesday and Thursday September 8 and 9 in Livingston County.

“We’ll have some short presentations first thing in the morning at 9 a.m. then the majority of our day is spent in the field doing connections and actually installing tile,” explained Nu-Ag’s Tim McGreal.

The demonstration site is two miles north and a mile west of Chatsworth. For more information, contact Nu-Ag Technology at 815-635-3011 or visit www.nuagtechnology.com.

McGreal and J.D. Skaggs from Nu-Ag were working last week in the Soil Max tent at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, pushing the tile plows, tile carts and Ag Leader control system. McGreal said it was a good show as the weather moderated.

When it comes to McGreal’s farms in the area, he said crops are looking good as the recent late summer heat sped up crop development. He is looking at the last week of September to get started on harvest.
