SWCD annual meeting cancelled

PONTIAC – The Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual meeting has been cancelled due to ongoing COVID restrictions.

The district is holding a general election to elect two individuals to serve a two-year term on the SWCD board. The election takes place January 21 at the USDA Service Center, 1510 W. Reynolds in Pontiac. Voting takes place from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. People must be at least 18 years of age and only owners or occupiers of land, or both, within the district are eligible to vote in SWCD director elections.
