Pork Expo condensed to one day
SPRINGFIELD – The 2023 Illinois Pork Expo has been condensed into a one-day event set for February 7 at Bank of Springfield Center.
The annual event showcases the outstanding producers and businesses in the industry in one centralized location. A trade show serves as the backdrop to the legislative reception held that Tuesday evening.
Pork Expo begins with the annual IPPA meeting at 9 a.m. with the trade show open 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the legislative reception, awards and auction from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Early attendee registration is now open. Admission is free but badges are required to enter the trade show floor. To speed up the check-in process, register by Jan. 31. Name badge pick-up is available at the registration desk in the lobby of BOS Center. Registration hours are Monday, Feb. 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 7 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is accepted through Jan. 31. After that date, registration can be completed on site.
