PEORIA – The upcoming winter farm show season already feels different now that we are starting to hear of changes.

The 39th Greater Peoria Farm Show, previously scheduled for Dec. 1-3 has been rescheduled to March 9-11 as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The change is in response to continuing state and local restrictions related to in-person events, according to show organizers in a news release.

Midwest Shows is working with the Peoria Civic Center, exhibitors, host hotel and other partners to ensure a smooth transition to the new dates.

“It has been really amazing to see how supportive and responsive people have been,” said John K. Riles, president of Midwest Shows. “We are grateful for their efforts and are eager to host the event in March, just as area farmers are gearing-up for the 2021 planting season.”
