NREC cancels SIU field day

NREC has canceled the SIU Field Day set for Tuesday (June 17).
Wet conditions throughout Southern Illinois have significantly delayed planting and farmers will likely be taking advantage of whatever time they can to get seed into the ground.
Researchers and farmers have both been challenged by wet ground this year.
It is uncertain if the event will be rescheduled when conditions improve.
