LCFB Agronomy Day is Feb. 10

PONTIAC – A full day of valuable information is planned for local growers during the upcoming Livingston County Farm Bureau Agronomy Day.
The event is slated for next Friday, Feb. 10 at the Precision Planting PTI Research Farm in Pontiac with registration at 8:30 a.m. and lunch at 12 p.m. Speakers include Doug Yoder, crop agency manager with COUNTRY Financial and Adam Nielsen, director of National Legislation/Policy Development with Illinois Farm Bureau.
“Then, we’ve got Dale Durchholz coming to do a market oulook,” said Chris Bunting, Livingston County Farm Bureau manager.
Precision Planting’s Jason Webster will give an overview of research happening at the company’s PTI farm in Pontiac.
“We are always looking for a few more registrations, so if you get a chance, call the office,” adds Bunting.
