Land Values report available as download

Those interested in what’s happening with farmland values and farmland lease trends can now access the 2026 Illinois Farmland Values and Lease Trends Report as a free pdf download at the web site of the sponsor, www.ispfmra.org.

This publication is produced annually by the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.

“This is a great opportunity for those interested to access a review of prices paid for Illinois in 2025 by geographic region and counties across the state,” says Luke Worrell, AFM, ALC, Worrell Land Services, Jacksonville, Il. Worrell serves as the overall chair for the annual Land Values Program sponsored by the Society.

“This is the same Report that is distributed at the annual Illinois Land Values Conference which was held in April The Report is broken down by 10 regions across the state and provides sales histories by month for most of the transactions that took place in 2025. There is also a special section at the back of the book that looks at current farmland lease trends as well as projections on farmland values for 2026,” he continues.

“This year’s publication is unique in that it is interactive with web sites of the advertisers in the Report. Readers can ‘click on’ the html link in the respective ads and be taken directly to the web site of that advertiser.”

Worrell explains that the pdf document is the entire 124-page document. Printed copies of the Report are available at a $20 fee. Order forms are available on the site. Copies of previous years’ reports are also available as no-cost downloads but not as printed copies.
