L&M joins Ag Market.net

John Stewart and Associates is pleased to announce the addition of the team from L&M Commodities to its team.

They will join AgMarket.Net®, the farm division of JSA. Hedging strategists Wayne Nelson, Paul Coolley and Jon Hester will work as a branch office in New Market, Indiana. L&M Commodities has been in business for more than three decades under the direction of Nelson. The firm, which also provides crop insurance needs, has been vital in helping farmers, livestock producers and elevators with managing risk and commodity marketing services.

AgMarket.Net® is thrilled to have three seasoned brokers, with more than 100 years of experience between them, join the company.

Nelson, branch manager of the New Market office, is an Illinois farm kid who graduated from the University of Illinois. His career experience includes time as a grain merchandiser, crop insurance agent and commodity broker. Coolley is an AP of the New Market office. The Eastern Illinois University graduate has more than 40 years of experience within the commodity business, which included a position as a branch manager at the Oakland, Illinois location.

He has also worked as a grain merchandiser in the past. Hester is an AP in the New Market office. The Indiana farmer is a graduate of Indiana State University. He has more than 20 years of experience in the commodity business and was formerly a teacher.
