ISA to offer FFA webinar
The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) is hosting an Ag Technology webinar event with the theme, “Dare to Be Innovative,” this June during the Illinois FFA Convention.
This event is for FFA chapters throughout the state of Illinois during the hybrid 2021 State FFA Convention. “Dare to Be Innovative,” will be held June 7, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. CST via Zoom webinar. The event focuses on the future of ag technology, and both past and present Illinois tech innovators.
Attendees will learn from a power-packed speaker lineup, including Rob Sharkey, “The Shark Farmer,” who is an innovator throughout the agriculture world, hosting a podcast as well as TV show, SHARKFARMER TV on RFDTV. Other speakers include Megan Miller, Business Development Manager for Moore & Warner Ag Group, LLC, who will inform attendees on the various ways she combines modern agricultural management with the old-fashioned personal and professional service that earns business, year after year.
Blake Noland, BirddogWS CEO, will share his expertise for recruiting high end technicians in Aviation, Medical Equipment Repair, Agriculture, Wind Turbines, and Diesel Technologies. Noland helps companies identify the next generation of technicians that define work ethic.
The Illinois FFA chapter with the most registered students attending the event will receive a $500 ag tech grant courtesy of the Illinois Soybean Association. In addition, there will be drawings including an Apple MacBook, Apple Watch, drone, and Beats headphones for those in attendance.
