Four vying for Ford Co. Fair queen
The 2022 Miss Ford County Fair Queen Pageant will be held Monday, June 13, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the dance building on the fairgrounds in Melvin.
Four young ladies will be vying for the title of Miss Ford County 2022, including: Kate Wilson, Lyndi Allen, Gracelyn Greenburg, and Ariana Coe.
● Kate Wilson, 16, Paxton, will be a senior at Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School in the fall. In the future, Kate wishes to pursue a degree in Psychology. She is the daughter of Mike and Heather Wilson.
●Lyndi Allen,19, Paxton, is a 2021 graduate of Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School. She currently attends Illinois State University in the fall, majoring in Public Relations. She is the daughter of Scott and Lisa Allen.
● Gracelyn Greenburg, 17, Paxton, will be a senior at Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School in the fall. In the future, Gracelyn wishes to pursue a degree in Nursing. She is the daughter of Kelly Reitz and Matt & Kristi Greenburg.
● Ariana Coe, 16, Loda, will be a junior at Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School in the fall. In the future, Ariana wishes to pursue a degree in cosmetology. She is the daughter of Jeff and April Coe.
The reigning Miss Ford County 2021 is Jolee Hastings of Loda. She is the daughter of Joel and Mary Hastings. Jolee is a 2020 graduate of Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School. She will be a junior at the University of Illinois in the fall, majoring in Agriculture Accounting.
The 2022 Ford County Fair will be held at the fairgrounds in Melvin from June 12 through June 18. Additional details and a full schedule of activities can be found at www.fordcountyfair.org.
