Ford Co. Fair contestants announced

Contestants have been announced for the 2025 Miss Ford County Fair Queen Pageant on June 23.

They include Natalie Aberle, Charley Ulrich, Aubree Sawyer and Kyleigh Williams.

Natalie Aberle, 17, Gibson City, is a senior at Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley High School. She is the daughter of Randy and Darla Aberle. After graduating from high school, Natalie hopes to pursue a career in agribusiness.

Charley Ulrich, 18, Paxton, is a 2025 graduate of Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School. She is the daughter of Chuck & Sarah Ulrich. She plans to attend Parkland College to pursue a degree in Communications.

Aubree Sawyer, 18, Paxton, is a 2025 graduate of Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School. She is the daughter of Joe & Hillary Sawyer. She plans to attend Illinois State University to pursue a degree in Communications.

Kyleigh Williams, 16, Paxton, is a senior at Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School. She is the daughter of William and Chelsie Williams. After graduating from high school, Kyleigh hopes to pursue a career in animal sciences or radiology.

The reigning Miss Ford County from 2024 is Kate Wilson, a 2023 graduate of Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School who currently attends Illinois Wesleyan University, majoring in marketing.

This year’s pageant will be at 7 p.m. on June 23 inside the dance building on the fairgrounds at Melvin. The 2025 Ford County Fair takes place June 22 through 28. More information and a schedule of activities can be found at www.fordcountyfair.org.
