Fair Ag Day moved up

Theme days have been announced for this year’s Illinois State Fair in Springfield which runs August 10-20.

Agriculture Day has been moved up to Friday, Aug. 11 this year. Kids Day will follow along with Veterans & Gold Star Families Day, Senior Citizens Day, Governor’s Day, First Responder and Family Day.

Organizers of the fair say they want to put agriculture front and center by moving up Ag Day from Tuesday to the first Friday.
