Expansion project announced in Dixon
DIXON — Prairie State Tractor has unveiled plans to expand the Dixon, Illinois location.
The expansion project includes a new 9,600 square foot service shop building, dedicated turf and utility service area, and 2,080 square foot wash bay. The tentative completion date is mid-December.
The most notable aspect of the new facility additions will be the state-of-the-art service building featuring six service bays, and a 5-ton bridge crane. The new building also opens current space for a new turf and utility equipment service area. The expansion will allow the facility to add additional technicians.
“Servicing the equipment of today’s producers is a critical part of our business,” says Chris Rupiper, CEO of Prairie State Tractor. “This expansion is directly targeted at increasing our capability and capacity to serve all our customer’s equipment needs now and into the future. We believe this investment will build customer’s trust in Prairie State Tractor for equipment purchasing, parts, and service.”
This facility will help the company service customer equipment solutions far into the future, and it is less than 10 miles from Grand Detour where John Deere first laid his roots.
