Enlist a good choice for growers

Bryan Lessen with Rob-See-Co feels the Enlist soybean trait platform is a very good choice for growers.

Many growers are finding the yields are just as good if not better than any other choice out there. Enlist has low volatility, a wide application window and superior yields and agronomics.

“Our message, and it has been from day one, is the Enlist platform is safe, simple and superior,” Lessen told The Central Illinois Farm Network this week.

Lessen encourages growers unsure about Enlist to do a side-by-side comparison with another type of soybean.

“The Enlist beans are booking up fast,” Lessen said. “We already have more sold than we had sold all of last year.”

Rob-See-Co is not out of the beans yet but they could sell out at some point.

Across the area of the Illinois Lessen serves, most of the soybean harvest has wrapped-up and some farmers are done harvesting completely. Lessen has observed a fair amount of corn still out in the field.
