Container recycling events set

Free agrichemical container recycling will be offered by the Illinois Department of Agriculture this summer.

Farmers and agrichemical facilities are urged to save empty containers for the upcoming recycling days in July and August. IDOA’s Richard Severns notes the containers need to be clean and dry and free of caps or labels. Mini and intermediate bulk containers must be cut into separate top, bottom and sides with fittings removed.
