U.S. soy growers are facing multiple headwinds, including uncertainties over trade, high input costs and weather variability. But growers continue to look for new solutions.
On Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. central time, Agri-Pulse will host a webinar to discuss opportunities for driving more volume and value across food, feed, fuel, industrial, and export markets. Free registration is available here.
“Soybeans have long been associated with animal feed and export markets, but new innovations are building demand through several additional channels like soy-based biofuels and PFAS free firefighting foam,” said Agri-Pulse Founder and Publisher Sara Wyant.
The event is sponsored by the United Soybean Board, which is funded by nearly a half-million U.S. soybean growers. The checkoff looks 5-10 years out to ensure that U.S. soybean farmers have viable domestic and international demand for the future. Speakers include:
Philip Good, USB Chair, Mississippi soybean farmer
Brent Gatton, USB Vice Chair, Kentucky soybean farmer
Keenan McRoberts, Ph.D., USB Executive Vice President of Strategy
John Jansen, USB Senior Vice President of Market Development
Brian Pierce, Ph.D., USB Senior Vice President, Strategy Operations and Industrial Innovation
