Ag Awareness Breakfast is virtual
BLOOMINGTON – The annual McLean County Ag Awareness Breakfast presented by GROWMARK will happen virtually this year.
It is free to attend next Thursday, March 18 with online registration required for the 7:30 a.m. meeting via Zoom. The event celebrates and shows support for agriculture education and the advancement of agriculture in the community.
The breakfast highlights FFA service awards, Maitland grant recipients, the George Holder grant winner and keynote address by Dr. Chris Harbourt, University of Illinois Professor for the Department Crop Sciences and Assistant Director of the Center for Digital Ag.
Attendees can pick up a breakfast box the day before the event, March 17, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at designated pick-up locations on the east and west side of town.
