80th LCSWCD annual meeting set

The 80th annual meeting of the Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District is set for January 16 at the Pontiac Elks Club.

A breakfast buffet starts off the event at 8 a.m. and the meeting includes the election of two Soil and Water Conservation District Directors and a presentation of the Conservation Farm Family and Partner in Conservation Awards.

Tickets for the annual meeting are $15 and can be ordered by contacting the Livingston County SWCD office at 815-844-6127, extension 3 or by e-mail at livingstoncountyswcd@gmail.com. No tickets will be available at the door and the RSVP deadline is Wednesday, January 8.
