Subsoil moisture supply was rated 4 percent very short, 15 percent short, 74 percent adequate, and 7 percent surplus.
Corn dough reached 80 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 76 percent. Corn dented reached 27 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 28 percent. Corn condition was rated 2 percent very poor, 5 percent poor, 19 percent fair, 45 percent good, and 29 percent excellent.
Soybeans blooming reached 96 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 95 percent. Soybeans setting pods reached 80 percent, even with the 5-year average. Soybean condition was rated 3 percent very poor, 4 percent poor, 22 percent fair,42 percent good, and 29 percent excellent.
