Senate passes USMCA
The Senate has voted to ratify the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement, also known as USMCA by a vote of 89-10.
This move ensures market and trade stability with the leading export market for U.S. pork and the second biggest export market for U.S. soybeans. In a statement released after the news, the Illinois Soybean Growers said reliable access to export markets is critical for agriculture and the rural economy. ISG said it commends members of the Senate for voting in support of USMCA.
