Barn tour is Saturday

The McLean County Barnkeepers Barn Tour is this Saturday (Sept. 14) in Lexington and Money Creek townships.

According to the organization’s website, this year’s tour features some of the finest barns on the most beautiful farms in Central Illinois. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. at the Church of Christ Uniting on north Pine Street in Lexington which serves as the tour’s welcome center.

Tickets are $20 per carload with a $5 discount for Barnkeepers members. Although registration closes at 2 p.m., tour sites will remain open until 4 p.m. Those registering will receive a booklet full of information.
