The 8 to 14 day weather outlook from NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center continues to show near or above seasonable temperatures through mid-April with above average precipitation chances in the near term.

This pattern should change later in the month, according to an extended weather outlook from AccuWeather. Following some rain Thursday and later in the weekend, sunshine returns Monday and Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Rain chances return to the forecast Wednesday and Thursday with a cooling trend to the upper 50s by later next week.

For the second half of April, AccuWeather expects drier conditions with fewer rain chances as temperatures start to moderate once again. A dry trend could continue into early May with sunshine and temperatures climbing well into the 70s by then.
