Lincoln man a Master Farmer
LINCOLN – One of four Illinois farmers named a 2019 Master Farmer from Prairie Farmer magazine is from Lincoln.
Bill Sahs grew up on a farm in Logan County and joined the Navy after high school. He and his wife moved back to Illinois in 1976 to farm for a neighbor. He later farmed the ground his father and grandfather farmed. Sahs is a co-founder of the Logan County Habitat for Humanity and serves on several local boards. Sahs has a son and daughter.
The Master Farmer honor recognizes ag production skills, community service and family commitment.
