Food bank benefits from Kroger

NORMAL – Midwest Food Bank based in Normal received $10,000 courtesy of Kroger stores in Central Illinois.

Five stores presented more than $30,000 in donations to several area human service agencies to help eliminate hunger. Other monetary gifts were presented in Peoria and Pekin. These donations were part of over $407,000 given to agencies by Kroger across the company’s region which covers five states.
