Alumni auction set for Jan. 16

KEMPTON – The Tri-Point FFA alumni auction is just around the corner. The Jan. 16 event will take place at the Kempton Legion Hall with a silent auction starting at 5 p.m. and the live auction at 6:30.

“We usually have a pretty decent crowd. A lot of people come and support us,” says Brittney Billerbeck, reporter for the Tri-Point FFA chapter.

The alumni group helps the chapter throughout the year with contests and travel. They help pay for trips and are “very supportive,” according to Billerbeck. Things are going well for the Tri-Point FFA this school year as they had success at the national convention. Several activities are planned in 2019, including a blood drive on April 23.
