(CIFN photo)

GILMAN - Iroquois West may have fallen to Watseka in high school football Friday night, but they gave it their all on senior night.

Watseka defeated Iroquois West 32-23. Iroquois West got on the board early with a touchdown then Watseka quickly answered in the first quarter. It was back and forth for much of the first half. Watseka was the first to score in the second half, making the score 20-9 with 4:22 left in the third.

With just 6:14 to go in the game, Iroquois West had a 16-yard touchdown. Each team then scored again before the game was over.

This was our final CIFN Sports Central Game of the Week for the regular high school football season in Central Illinois.
