Farm and Home Show is Saturday

The Prairie Central FFA 2018 Farm and Home Show is right around the corner, giving attendees the chance to win a restored tractor.

Ag students at Prairie Central High School completely restored a 1946 Farmall H tractor and raffle tickets will be sold during the show in Forrest Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Farm and Home Show takes place at the Prairie Central Upper Elementary gymnasium. A meal will be served in the cafeteria and several vendors will exhibit products in the gym.

The tractor will be raffled March 22 during the annual PC Hog Roast and Auction at the high school in Fairbury.

Officers for this year’s Prairie Central FFA include: President Clay Zimmerman, Vice Presidents Milan Leman, Tanner Hartman and Megan Ifft, Secretary Kari Slagel, Treasurer Jake Leman, Reporters Rachel McGreal and Grace Eisenmann, Sentinel Mitch Bazzell, Historians Ethan Slagel and Jeremy Steffen and Parliamentarian Eric Edelman.

FFA advisors are Kyle Miller, Becky Freed and Kole Stadt.
