Planting meeting set for Monday

BLOOMINGTON – An informational meeting on prevented planting options will be presented Monday (June 3) at the McLean County Fairgrounds in Bloomington starting at 6:30 p.m.

Speakers include: Nyle Wiechmann of COUNTRY Financial, Adam Nielsen with Illinois Farm Bureau and Karen Corrigan of McGillicuddy-Corrigan Agronomics. The meeting will examine crop insurance coverage, USDA’s Market Facilitation Program and agronomic considerations for acres.
