Reba coming to State Fair

This year's Illinois State Fair in Springfield will feature country music superstar Reba McEntire.

She will close out the lineup with a concert in front of the grandstand Aug. 18. McEntire's career has included music, film, television and theater work. She won a 2018 Kennedy Center Honor and has a new album which will be released April 5 via Big Machine Records. McEntire is a member of the Hollywood Bowl and has received 16 ACM awards, 15 American Music Awards, nine People's Choice awards, six CMA's and three Grammys along with a GMA Dove award.

Singer Rachel Wammack is expected to open for McEntire at the State Fair.
