Valentine ag event set for Saturday

FLANAGAN – An event known as “For the Love of Agriculture” is planned for Saturday (Feb. 10) in Flanagan.

The event at the high school takes place from 10-11:30 a.m. and includes a grain marketing panel, a Valentine’s Day floral arrangement workshop and children’s activities which include making a flower pot to take home.

“We’re playing off of the Valentine’s Day theme and the all-encompassing agricultural education component of it,” said FFA advisor Jessica Collins. “We just got some chicks in for our petting zoo next week so there are activities that go along with that as well.”
