Planter meeting is Wednesday

You can brush-up on your planting skills just in time for the spring season Wednesday (Feb. 22) during a planting refresher course hosted by Atkins Seed Service of Weston.

Coffee and donuts will be served at 7:30 a.m. followed by a 360 Yield Center presentation from 8-9:30 a.m., Precision Planting information from 9:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and lunch. Anyone interested in variable rate technology can stick around at 12:30 p.m. and the folks from Atkins will show you how simple it can be to create a field prescription.

If you do not currently have a Precision Planting monitor, Atkins Seed Service can set you up with one to try out for 2017. If you don't love it at the end of the season, you can return it at no charge.
