Area farm crawl planned

BLACKSTONE - Hundreds of people from around Illinois and other states will visit a handful of farms in Livingston County this weekend during the 5th annual Farm Crawl event.

Three small family farms will offer tours Aug. 20 and 21 in the northwestern part of the county. Those farms include Cherokee Winds in Blackstone, Antiquity Oaks in Cornell and Farmer in Odell in Odell. The farms will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Admission is free, but to win a gift basket of items made by all three farms, you must go to www.eventbrite.com and search for the Livingston County Farm Crawl. Print the free ticket, bring it with you to have it stamped at all three farms and leave it at the last place you visit. If you win the basket, you will be notified the next week.
