Tile demo days planned
CHATSWORTH – The annual summer tile demo day hosted by Nu-Ag Technology in Chatsworth has been expanded this year.
A do-it-yourself tile clinic is planned for Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. with demonstrations the following day, Aug. 11. Tile design possibilities will be reviewed and attendees will learn how to do topographical surveys.
“In the afternoon, we’re going to do some installation of tile,” explained Nu-Ag owner Tim McGreal.
Some incentives will also be offered, including a half price base station with the purchase of a complete tile package. The first day sessions will be held at the Nu-Ag office, 32528 East 835 North Road in Chatsworth. Demos on the second day will be given a quarter mile west of Chatsworth on 900 North Road.

Ag Leader update:
Ag Leader has some great yield monitor options with on-screen mapping, according to McGreal. Also, combine steering equipment is available including RTK solutions with DigiFarm and the cell based RTK correction which solves a lot of problems which occurred in the past. An early order program ends Sept. 30 with some discount incentives.
During the spring, Ag Leader had a successful launch of a new iPad application. The company has also launched an electric drive option along with row by row hydraulic downforce control.
“That looks to be a very positive step in the right direction,” said McGreal.
