Time for state convention

NORMAL – The Illinois State FFA Convention is underway.

The organization held its opening ceremony this week at the Corn Crib in Normal to honor award winners in districts one and two. The award winners in district five will be honored this Friday with those in districts three and four honored next Wednesday.

More than 1,500 students, teachers, parents and various guests are attending the in-person FFA convention. Last year’s convention took place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
