CHATSWORTH – A new modem device from DigiFarm known as “Elevate” simplifies the process of providing RTK correction services to farmers.

“It’s something we are piecing together in-house,” explained Steve Riddle, DigiFarm eastern U.S. sales representative.

Traditionally, a cell modem delivering corrections to a tractor was sort of cumbersome with plenty of pieces.

“We’ve included everything into one enclosure,” said Riddle.

The installation has been simplified along with the ability to move the service from machine to machine. Like all of the DigiFarm products, Elevate is not tied to just one brand of GPS. The product has had great reception and some units are already out locally.

Riddle acknowledges this past winter was different for the farm show circuit but DigiFarm participated in as many virtual events as possible and looked at other marketing avenues.

“Our business has been good and up. A lot of it is built on relationships – maybe more at the dealer or local level.”

DigiFarm has been working with ag retailers and farmers since 2011 providing correction services throughout the Midwest.

Nu-Ag Technology in Chatsworth is a dealer for DigiFarm products and can be reached at 815-635-3011 or online at www.nuagtechnology.com. For more on DigiFarm specifically, log on to www.digifarm.com or contact Riddle at 815-915-6954.
