The event is open to the public and will be held at the Eagle Theatre at 319 North Plum Street in Pontiac.

Candidates for County Sheriff, County Clerk and County Treasurer have been invited to participate. They will have the opportunity to give their insight into the key issues involving the county and how they would address those issues.

Kent Casson, Central Illinois Farm Network, will serve as moderator for the event. The County Clerk candidate will begin at 6:30 pm. The candidate for County Treasurer will immediately follow. Following that will be the candidates for County Sheriff.

Each candidate, in ballot order, will have up to 3 minutes for an opening statement. Following, there will be a series of questions presented by the moderator. Following the questions, each candidate will be given up to 3 minutes for a closing statement.

Questions may be submitted before the event. The committee for the event will approve all questions to ensure it is a fair and balanced forum. We will also provide notecards at the event to be given to the committee. All questions should be submitted to Chris Bunting at the Farm Bureau at livcfbmgr@gmail.com or (815) 842-1103.
