Barickman recognized as Friend of Ag

Members of the Illinois Farm Bureau have once again recognized State Senator Jason Barickman of Bloomington as a Friend of Agriculture for his support of family farms in the state and the ag industry.

Barickman said ag is the backbone of the state’s economy and our farms are the heart and soul of the industry. The senator grew up on a multi-generational family farm and said he understands the importance of making sure state government ensures farmers have the tools they need to be successful.

Illinois Farm Bureau reviews voting records of every House and Senate member as the current General Assembly draws to a close every two years and recognizes those who support the ag industry with the Friend of Agriculture award.
